Roll Down Projector Screens Print E-mail
Thursday, 15 February 2007
Although it is possible to buy a wide range of different types of projector screens, roll down projector screens are probably the most common, and most practical for most businesses. But there are still many different kinds of roll down projector screens, and which one you select will depend on the needs of you or your business. The simplest and most inexpensive type of roll down projector screens are manually operated. These are simple pulldown screens which can either be mounted on a suitable wall or surface, or alternatively they may be portable.

The former kind have the advantage of permanence, and remove the need to set up your screen before each usage. With a wall-mounted projector screen, your meeting room is ready to host a presentation at a moment’s notice. The advantages of portability, on the other hand, are clear. These are particularly useful projector screens for businesses or individuals who may have to give presentations away from the office, or travel to clients.

At the other end of the market, many businesses choose to install powered projector screens. These are often set up in conjunction with remote control projection systems, which can be mounted on the ceiling of a meeting room, and allow you to automate your projection equipment, adding an air of professionalism to your business. Naturally, this kind of set-up is more expensive, but if your projector and screens are in constant use, it may make sense to invest in a powered roll down projector screen.
